Introduced around 2011, the Fly-Back variant distinguished itself from the standard Grantour chronographs with its fly-back function, allowing the chronograph to reset and restart instantly with a single push — a useful capability for timing consecutive intervals, especially in racing contexts. It’s powered by an ETA-based automatic movement with a Dubois-Dépraz fly-back module, and typically housed in a 42mm steel case with either stainless or two-tone accents.
Produced through much of the Grantour era until Tudor shifted focus toward other chronographs (like the Black Bay Chrono), the Fly-Back remains notable as one of Tudor’s few chronographs with this complication and a clear connection to the brand’s motorsport-oriented identity.
