With this release, IWC looked back to Gérald Genta’s original Ingenieur SL from the 1970s and reworked it for today without losing the character that made the original so special. The result is a watch that feels purposeful, architectural, and very intentional in its design. The 40mm case is made from titanium, giving the watch a lightweight feel on the wrist while still looking solid and industrial. That material choice pairs perfectly with the integrated titanium bracelet, which flows seamlessly from the case and reinforces the Ingenieur’s tool-meets-luxury identity. The grey dial features a square-motif texture, a direct homage to its vintage muse. Inside is a self-winding IWC movement with an impressive 120-hour power reserve, making it as practical as it is design-driven.Authenticity
